  • Michael Lake is located SW of Wollaston Lake. The property is located 16 km W of Appia’s Loranger Property, 4 km SE of UEX’s West Bear deposit and 4.5 km W from all-season Provincial highway 905. Highway 905 provides ground transportation access and services to the Rabbit Lake operations, as well as the Areva joint venture McLean Lake mill, Areva/Cameco Cigar Lake mine, and Points North Landing. Cameco’s Rabbit Lake uranium mill and Eagle Point mine operations are approximately 40 km NNE of the property.

Location

  • The Rook East properties are located in the SW Athabasca Basin, approximately 30 km ESE and 40 km E from the recently discovered Triple R (Fission Uranium Corp), Arrow (NexGen Energy Corp) and Spitfire (Purepoint Uranium/Cameco/Areva) high-grade uranium deposits, and approximately 125 km and 140 km NE of the village of La Loche.
  • The properties are ground accessible via unpaved bush trails that connect with Provincial highway 955 on the north side of Patterson Lake.

Geology

The Rook East properties are located within the Athabasca Basin. Rook East I & II are situated approximately 1 km and 17 km north of the Athabasca Basin margin, respectively. The basement rock types underlying the Athabasca sandstones in the property area are believed to be Archean granitic to tonalitic orthogneiss of the Taltson Province.
